My interest in health and well-being has been with me from when I was very young. Growing up in a small town in Sweden, two of the things that I spent a lot of time doing were trail running and cross country skiing, which has made me understand what fascinating and interesting achievements the human body is actually capable of.

I'm a Swedish massage therapist and trained in Swedish Massage. I'm a certified Medical Massage Therapist and have been working since 2017. I have
experience helping clients with chronic pain, fibromyalgia and relaxation due to a lot of stress.
One of the things I love most is to help people with their problems, to work with each and every person's unique body, whether to release tensions in their muscles through massage, help them find a new form of training or discover different ways to reduce stress. One of my top priorities in my work, besides offer high quality, science based massage therapy, is creating a safe space where my clients can relax completely. Relax their bodies and relax their minds. For some clients it's essential to open up and share their stories in order to be able to relax and release their tensions. For others it's the other way around, it's after they feel safe and relaxed in their bodies that they also are able to let the guard down off their minds.

Before I decided to become a massage therapist I studied environmental science, sustainable development, biology and development studies. After my studies I got a job at the Center for Environment and Development Studies at Uppsala University, Sweden, and later also at the Department for International Maternal and Child's Health. After about ten years behind a desk I decided it was time for a new adventure and applied for massage school.

For me, nature and health has always been very closely connected. I believe that to feel good in life, physically and mentally, we need to be surrounded by a healthy and blooming nature. And when we do feel well, we're taking better care of our environment that surrounds us. We are all connected.

When I'm not standing by a massage table you will most likely find me either in my running shoes, or under a tree with a book under my nose and a thermos full of coffee by my side.

“When you go out into the woods and you look at trees, you see all these different trees. And some of them are bent, and some of them are straight, and some of them are evergreens, and some of them are whatever. And you look at the tree and you allow it. You appreciate it. You see why it is the way it is. You sort of understand that it didn’t get enough light, and so it turned that way. And you don’t get all emotional about it. You just allow it. You appreciate the tree.

The minute you get near humans, you lose all that. And you are constantly saying “You’re too this, or I’m too this.” That judging mind comes in. And so I practice turning people into trees. Which means appreciating them just the way they are.”
