My interest in health and well-being has been with me from when I was very young. Growing up in a small town in Sweden, two of the things that I spent a lot of time doing were trail running and cross country skiing, which has made me understand what fascinating and interesting achievements the human body is actually capable of.
I'm a Swedish massage therapist and trained in Swedish Massage. I'm a certified Medical Massage Therapist and have been working since 2017. I have experience helping clients with chronic pain, fibromyalgia and relaxation due to a lot of stress. |
One of the things I love most is to help people with their problems, to work with each and every person's unique body, whether to release tensions in their muscles through massage, help them find a new form of training or discover different ways to reduce stress.
Before I decided to become a massage therapist I studied environmental science, sustainable development, biology and development studies. After my studies I got a job at the Center for Environment and Development Studies at Uppsala University, Sweden, and later also at the Department for International Maternal and Child's Health. After about ten years behind a desk I decided it was time for a new adventure and applied for massage school. |
For me, nature and health has always been very closely connected. I believe that to feel good in life, physically and mentally, we need to be surrounded by a healthy and blooming nature. And when we do feel well, we're taking better care of our environment that surrounds us. We are all connected.
When I'm not standing by a massage table you will most likely find me either in my running shoes, or under a tree with a book under my nose and a thermos full of coffee by my side. /Hanna |
